Associate – Workers' Compensation (CLE/COL)

McDonald Hopkins LLC is seeking an experienced Ohio workers’ compensation attorney for a part-time or flexible work arrangement, resident in either the Cleveland or Columbus office. This position requires a minimum of 6-10 years of experience representing employers with an emphasis in state funded and self-insured workers’ compensation in both the administration and litigation of claims before the Industrial Commission, the courts of common pleas and courts of appeal. The ideal candidate will be a strategic problem-solver who has worked extensively with employers and third party administrators in defending claims and controlling costs. Knowledge of OSHA and/or labor and employment experience considered a plus. Applicants should be highly motivated, enjoy serving as a trusted advisor to clients, and have the ability to work as part of a team. Candidates interested in a full-time attorney position will also be considered for this position in the event the candidate has labor and employment litigation or counseling and/or OSHA experience and some level of portable business.
