Help Desk Specialist (CLE)

McDonald Hopkins is looking to fill an opening for a Help Desk Specialist (located in our Cleveland office) with a candidate that has strong interpersonal and technical skills. This individual will be responsible for resolving and escalating incoming technical issues as well as participating in an on call rotation. Experience working for a law firm is a plus.

Minimum Technical Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience with troubleshooting and providing local/remote desktop support
  • 3+ years of experience troubleshooting Windows Desktop Operating Systems 7/8.x/10
  • 3+ years of experience with basic administration of the following:
  • Windows Server 2008 R2/2012 R2/2016
  • Microsoft Exchange Server 2010/2013/2016
  • Working knowledge of mobile devices, laptops and desktops
  • Working knowledge of common desktop applications including Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of client/server printing

Familiarity with the following is a plus:

  • VMware vSphere 5.x/6.x
  • Citrix XenApp 6.x/7.x
  • LAN/WAN and Storage Area Networking concepts
  • Worldox document management software

Minimum of an Associate’s degree in a technology related field or equivalent combination of related education and experience
