Managing HIPAA Business Associate Relationships: Security, Privacy, and Compliance
April 24, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
McDonald Hopkins Chicago Office
300 North LaSalle St, Suite 1400
HIPAA has become a basic element of almost all relationships between HIPAA covered entities (e.g. healthcare providers and health plans) and their suppliers, vendors, and partners. However, there is still confusion and lack of attention to key HIPAA requirements in these relationships. This presentation will discuss some of these key issues and identify approaches that covered entities and their business partners should take to assure that their relationship contributes to sound compliance with HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
If you plan to attend, e-mail Rick Hindmand at firstname.lastname@example.org so that your name can be placed on the guest list for the security desk. RSVPs will be closed at 3pm on day of event.
