Overview

When it comes to transactions in the energy industry, our experience and capabilities extend far beyond our geographic footprint. From assisting with the actual legal issues that arise with mergers and acquisitions, to handling related government relations, intellectual property, real estate and tax matters, our attorneys can assist your business before, after and during your transaction. We can also assist with performing environmental due diligence, including evaluation of site assessments and compliance audits, coordination of permit transfers, negotiation and oversight of remediation activities, and preparation of contractual provisions for the transfer, release or limitation of liability. Because tax equity is a critical part of the capital structure for energy projects, we can assist you with the structuring of your financial agreement, and provide any necessary support when it comes to eligible renewable energy projects.
