Attorney Ilirjan Pipa joins McDonald Hopkins

CLEVELAND (April 22, 2016) – Ilirjan Pipa has joined the Business department as an associate at McDonald Hopkins LLC, where he will be part of the Mergers and Acquisitions and Securities Practice teams. 

Based in the firm’s Cleveland office, Pipa comes to McDonald Hopkins after gaining considerable experience at Roetzel & Andress and Kohrman Jackson & Krantz.

Pipa has represented public and private companies operating in a spectrum of industries related to negotiating and drafting M&A transaction documents; negotiating and drafting general corporate agreements; drafting and filing 1933 Act and 1934 Act filings for public companies; and counseled clients on compliance issues raised by the SEC rules adopted as a result of Dodd-Frank and the JOBS Act. 

In 2011, Pipa earned his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and an M.B.A. from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management. He received a B.A., magna cum laude, from Baldwin Wallace University in 2007. Pipa was an extern for the Honorable Judge Edmund A. Sargus, U.S. District Judge in the Southern District of Ohio in 2008. Pipa serves on the board of directors of the Albanian-American Association of Cleveland.
