McDonald Hopkins' Miami office hosts KIPP Sunrise Academy luncheon

McDonald Hopkins’ Miami office proudly hosted a luncheon to introduce KIPP Sunrise Academy, part of the KIPP national network of non-profit college preparatory schools traditionally located in educationally underserved communities, to local business, government, legal and community leaders. Raquel “Rocky” Rodriguez, the firm’s Miami managing member, provided the welcoming remarks and former Florida governor Jeb Bush served as keynote speaker.
In 2018, KIPP will be opening its first Miami elementary school in the city’s Liberty City neighborhood.
