Grais and Chicago Mayor Lightfoot welcome music back to Pritzker Pavilion

News

McDonald Hopkins member and Grant Park Orchestral Association Board Chair Adam Grais introduced Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot on July 2, 2021 during opening night of the Grant Park Music Festival.

According to Bob Benenson of Third Coast Review, Grant Park Music Festival’s Independence Day Salute is likely to be more memorable than previous years as it marked the return of classical music to its Pritzker Pavilion home after a long hiatus due to the pandemic.

Grais echoed the sentiment in Benenson's review, O Say Does That Grant Park Orchestra Yet Play.

“I was honored to share the stage with Mayor Lightfoot to welcome Chicago back to Millennium Park for the first concert at Pritzker Pavilion in over two years," said Grais. "It was a beautiful night and the orchestra sounded great, as always.”

A tax attorney in McDonald Hopkins' Chicago office, Grais advises businesses and their owners on structuring transactions and in addressing complex federal income tax issues.
