David Drechsler named to American Cancer Society Ohio/West Virginia/Northern Kentucky Area Board

CLEVELAND – McDonald Hopkins member David Drechsler was named as one of 30 board members of the American Cancer Society’s Ohio/West Virginia/Northern Kentucky Area on Monday, March 15.

“I am honored to be on the Board of the American Cancer Society, an organization that I have known about just about my entire life,” said Drechsler. “I think it goes without saying that cancer has hurt all of us in many ways. It has taken some of the people I love the most and if I can help make even a small change for the better it will be an amazing experience.”

The American Cancer Society is a global grassroots force of nearly 2 million volunteers dedicated to saving lives, celebrating lives, and leading the fight for a world without cancer. In the Monday announcement, the ACS said its “essential volunteers include the 30 Ohio/ West Virginia/ Northern Kentucky Area Board Members. The experience these community members and business leaders bring to the ACS board is vital to furthering the American Cancer Society's mission.”
