CLEVELAND (March 10, 2017) - Shawn Riley, president of McDonald Hopkins, will be inducted as a Fellow of the 28th Class of the American College of Bankruptcy today, March 10, in Washington, D.C., at the Smithsonian Donald W. Reynolds Center for American Art and Portraiture.

The American College of Bankruptcy is an honorary association of bankruptcy and insolvency professionals and plays an important role in sustaining professional excellence in the field. The 30 new Fellows to the American College of Bankruptcy are honored and recognized for their professional excellence and exceptional contributions to the bankruptcy and insolvency practice. 

In addition to serving as president of McDonald Hopkins, Riley has  30 years of experience advising clients on strategic alternatives, including acquisitions, sales, mergers, affiliations, refinancings, recapitalizations, and restructurings. He is the founder of McDonald Hopkins' Business Restructuring Services Department and has experience in a number of industries, including automotive, energy, manufacturing, retail, casual dining, plastics, telecommunications, and healthcare. Riley is also the author of numerous articles and a frequent lecturer.
