Jeff is a member of the firm’s Business Department. He is experienced in all areas of real estate law and regularly represents businesses and individuals in property acquisitions, lease negotiations, easements, title issues and development matters. An important part of his practice is the representation of drillers, producers, pipeline companies, and other players in the oil and gas industry.
Jeff maintains a significant practice advising and representing a wide range of middle market business clients, drawing on the Firm’s resources to provide trusted advice to his business clients. His varied clients include a cheese maker and a chocolate candy company, a window manufacturer, a national tire wholesaler, software companies, lenders, conservancies, printing and logistics company, a powder coating manufacturer, non-profits, entrepreneurs, distribution companies and suppliers. He is a board member of the Geauga County Soil and Water Conservation District and former chairman of the Geauga County Planning Commission. He is active in a number of community and religious organizations including Celebration Lutheran Church, the Chesterland Rotary, the Holden Arboretum and the Alzheimer's Association.
Jeff earned a J.D., with Order of the Coif honors, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1980. He received a B.A. in Psychology, with high honors, from Valparaiso University in 1977.
