Is Your Business Ready for the GDPR?
Tuesday, November 28, 2017
Noon to 1:00 p.m. ET
May 25 is coming fast. That's the enforcement date for the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which imposes complex and more stringent requirements for processing personal data from or about individuals living in the European Union and in Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. Does your business have a presence in the EU? Do you have customers of employees in the EU? To the extent you operate outside the EU, do you offer goods or services (even if for free) to EU citizens or monitor their behavior such as by way of online tracking or profiling? If you or a third party vendor acting on your behalf does anything to, or with, personal data of EU citizens, but have not yet focused compliance efforts on the GDPR, the time to start is now. In this webinar we will cover the highlights of this important data protection regulation that will have worldwide implications, and give you advice on how best to use these next six months before the GDPR takes effect.
