On Monday, Feb. 29, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Michelle F. Kantor, Member, McDonald Hopkins LLC, will discuss "Federal Government Women-Owned Business Contracting Program & Large Business Teaming Opportunities."

The Federal Government's Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) Contracting Program has not only provided women businesses with new and addition revenue streams, but also has helped large businesses to team on Federal contracts and meet subcontracting goals.

Facing headwinds from a variety of sources, nonprofit institutions generally, and higher education institutions in particular, are navigating through unprecedented financial challenges.

Erosion control is still a troublesome challenge for many Ohio homeowners who live on lake fronts, rivers and watersheds. New legislation passed in 2019 and 2021 provides funding for residents and cities in desperate need of assistance, but few know how to take advantage of it.
