Today, Governor Kasich provided much anticipated feedback on Ohio Senate Bill 310, legislation which would freeze Ohio’s energy efficiency and renewable energy standards. The standards have been opposed by various business groups and electric utilities, while garnering support from other business entities and environmental groups. The Columbus Dispatch is reporting that the Governor threatened to veto the bill in its current form at a meeting of the “Big Three”, those being the Governor, Senate President Keith Faber and Speaker of the House Bill Batchelder.
