The Affordable Care Act established a limit on the amount employees could contribute to health flexible savings accounts (FSA) on a pre-tax salary reduction basis. That limit was $2,500.

The Internal Revenue Service has adjusted that limit for inflation by $50. Effective for Plan Years beginning on or after January 1, 2015, the FSA limit is $2,550.
