Richik Sarkar, accomplished commercial litigator, joins McDonald Hopkins law firm
Cleveland, Ohio (July 25, 2013) – Nationally recognized commercial litigator Richik Sarkar has joined McDonald Hopkins LLC as a member in the firm’s Litigation Department. He will be based in the firm’s Cleveland office.
Sarkar has significant expertise in commercial litigation, sales and trade practices, business torts, professional negligence and malpractice, financial services law, corporate governance and compliance, and overall risk management. He is recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in America® and has been selected for inclusion in Ohio Super Lawyers since 2005.

Sarkar earned his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He has a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from the University of Michigan. Sarkar is highly involved in the community and serves on the board of a number of organizations including the Asian American Bar Association of Ohio, the Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio and the Rainey Institute. Sarkar is Vice President and member of the Board of Trustees for the Cuyahoga County Community Improvement Corporation. He is also a member of the Greater Cleveland Partnership’s Commission on Economic Inclusion, United Way Services and the WKSU Community Advisory Council.
