Tax Attorney David H. Godenswager II joins McDonald Hopkins

CLEVELAND, Ohio (November 7, 2014) – David H. Godenswager II has joined the Cleveland office of McDonald Hopkins as an associate in the firm’s Private Client Department.
Godenswager joins McDonald Hopkins after more than eight years at SS&G, one of the nation’s largest independent accounting and business consulting firms, where he was a member of the Transaction Advisory Services Group and International Tax Practice. He has substantial experience advising both private equity and corporate clients on merger, acquisition, reorganization, and restructuring activities, including due diligence, integration planning, identification and capture of synergies, transaction structuring, and valuation. Previously, he served nearly five years as an Associate at Zaccardelli Financial Services LLC in Parma Heights, Ohio.
Godenswager received his J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude and was honored with the CALI Award for Academic Excellence in Tax II: Business Enterprises. He also graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Cleveland State University.
