McDonald Hopkins’ Ukeme Awakessien Jeter Appointed Co-Chair of the ABA YLD Intellectual Property Law Committee
CLEVELAND (July 21, 2015) – Ukeme Awakessien Jeter, an associate at McDonald Hopkins, was recently appointed as the next co-chair of the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division (ABA YLD) Intellectual Property Law Committee, effective August 1, 2015.
Jeter joined McDonald Hopkins in October 2014, and has spent the majority of her career working on all aspects of intellectual property law. She has experience advising clients and foreign counsel in acquiring and protecting all phases of their intellectual property portfolio.
The ABA YLD is committed to ensuring that the newest members of the legal profession have the tools and opportunities necessary for professional and personal success. With over 150,000 members and 300 affiliated groups, the YLD is the largest young lawyer organization in the world. The intellectual property group specifically focuses on patent, trademark, copyright, trade secrets, the internet and related unfair competitions cases.
