Chicago office adds prominent attorneys in Stephen Rosenfeld and Jordan Koss
Stephen J. Rosenfeld and Jordan Koss have joined McDonald Hopkins LLC as members, adding to the depth of talent and experience on the roster of the firm's Chicago office.
Rosenfeld is a prominent litigator with more than a quarter-century of experience. He comes to McDonald Hopkins after serving as the managing partner of Mandell Menkes in Chicago. Koss, who will serve as the head of the firm's startup and venture capital group, comes from goodcounsel LLC, a top boutique firm in Chicago, with prior experience in tech startup, M&A and private equity at Fenwick & West and Kirkland & Ellis.
Rosenfeld has extensive experience in complex commercial litigation involving, among other matters, information technology and intellectual property disputes. His cases in state and federal courts and before arbitration panels have involved everything from commercial contract disputes, to patent litigation, trademark infringement claims, defamation claims, misappropriation of trade secret claims, claims of violations of restrictive covenants, claims involving alleged violations of the federal securities law, and insurance coverage disputes.
Koss’ practice focuses on the representation of technology companies and venture capital investors in all aspects of the corporate life cycle, including formation and founder counseling, convertible debt and priced equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, venture debt and bridge loan financings, outside general counsel services, commercial contract negotiation, securities law compliance and corporate governance.
