Experienced business attorney Frank Wardega joins McDonald Hopkins
CLEVELAND (October 3, 2017) – Frank Wardega has joined the Cleveland office of McDonald Hopkins LLC, a business advisory and advocacy law firm, as a member in the Business Department. He comes to McDonald Hopkins from Kohrman Jackson & Krantz LLP.
Wardega has several years of M&A deal experience, as well as a broad-based business practice providing general business counseling to middle market and Fortune 500 corporate clients. His experience includes entrepreneurs with business formation and equity or debt financing, negotiating agreements with strategic partners or investors, managing clients’ trademarks and copyrights and negotiating complex business transitions.
“As a second-career attorney, Frank brings to McDonald Hopkins several years of unique legal and business experience to assist our clients with their legal and business counselling needs,” said James E. Stief, chair of the Business Department.
Prior to practicing law, Wardega spent 11 years at Ernst & Young LLP in New York City and in Cleveland.
Wardega earned his J.D., cum laude, from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2007, where he served as the research editor of the Journal of Law and Health. He received a B.A. in English from Ohio University in 1991. He serves as a mentor and instructor at BadGirl Ventures, a non-profit that provide funding to start-ups, a board member for Applewood Centers and serves as an adviser to the board of directors at RePlay for Kids.
