McDonald Hopkins welcomes Demetri Sintsirmas to Litigation Department
CLEVELAND — Demetri Sintsirmas has joined McDonald Hopkins as an Associate in the Litigation Department, adding his experience to the firm’s commercial litigation team. He brings a diverse set legal experience to the firm, with a practice that focuses on providing guidance to both large and small corporate clients throughout the litigation and appeals process.
Before joining McDonald Hopkins, Sintsirmas worked at an Am Law 100 law firm where he worked on both business and real estate litigation disputes. Sintsirmas has also served as an assistant county prosecutor in one of Ohio’s largest counties. In this capacity, he prosecuted a wide range of felony cases and has successfully represented the state in both bench and jury trials.
Sintsirmas also has experience in appellate matters. He has served as a law clerk to the Honorable Justice Michael P. Donnelly of the Ohio Supreme Court, where he worked on an array of civil matters. In addition, Sintsirmas has successfully defended a case before Ohio’s Eighth District Court of Appeals and has experience in administrative appeals.
Sintsirmas earned his J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2019. While in law school, he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Cleveland State Law Review, participated on the school’s Moot Court team, and externed for the Honorable Judge Dan A. Polster of the United States District Court – Northern District of Ohio.
