McDonald Hopkins welcomes Lindsie A. Everett to Cleveland office

CLEVELAND – Lindsie A. Everett has joined McDonald Hopkins as an associate in the Intellectual Property Department of the firm’s Cleveland Office.
Everett is an experienced intellectual property attorney who provides clients with strategic advice in the areas of domestic and international trademarks, domain names, advertising, and social media. She manages all aspects of trademark portfolios and works closely with clients on a broad range of corporate transactional work. Everett’s trademark experience further includes working with clients to assess potential new trademarks, clearance analysis, preparation of trademark applications, prosecuting them before the USPTO and internationally, and enforcing trademark owners’ rights.
“We are excited to welcome Lindsie to McDonald Hopkins,” said David Cupar, who serves as chair of McDonald Hopkins Intellectual Property Department and on the firm’s board of directors. “She will be working with our clients on trademark strategy and management, social media issues, and corporate transactions involving technology. Lindsie’s legal, business and client experience in those areas will serve our clients well.”
Everett earned her J.D. and IP Certificate from the University of Akron School of Law, where she was on the editorial board of the Akron Law Review and managing editor of the Akron Intellectual Property Journal and served as president of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. She earned a B.A from the University of Dayton.
