McDonald Hopkins welcomes tax attorney Honor Banvard

COLUMBUS– Tax attorney Honor D. Banvard has joined McDonald Hopkins LLC, a business advisory and advocacy law firm, as an associate in the Tax and Benefits Department.

Based in the Columbus office, Banvard has over nine years of legal experience, with extensive knowledge in federal tax matters involving C corporations, S corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, joint ventures, and real estate. She is skilled in statutory, regulatory and administrative ruling interpretation.

Banvard earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2008, where she served as the editor of the Harvard Journal on Legislation. She received a B.A., summa cum laude, in political science with a minor in economics from The Ohio State University in 2005.
