McDonald Hopkins welcomes Sanjana Palla to national Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Team

CHICAGO — Sanjana Palla has joined McDonald Hopkins LLC in Chicago as an associate in the Litigation Department, adding her experience to the firm’s national Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Practice Group.  

Palla has experience advising clients through complex U.S. and international data privacy laws and interpreting the myriad of state and federal laws governing data breach responses. In her practice, Palla assists clients with ransomware, phishing attacks, business email compromises, and misdirected funds incidents in the education, government, finance, publishing, industrial sectors, and other industries. She also works proactively with clients to develop and implement risk management processes and data security measures. Additionally, Palla works with forensics investigators and other stakeholders to guide clients through incident response and regulatory inquiries.

Palla earned her J.D. from University of Miami School of Law. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration at The University of Texas at Austin.
