Shawn Riley appointed to Kent State Board of Trustees
Shawn Riley, managing member of our Cleveland office and president-elect at McDonald Hopkins, was recently appointed by Ohio Gov. John Kasich as a new trustee to the Kent State University Board of Trustees.
Kent State’s Board of Trustees is the governing body of Kent State. The board consists of 12 members, nine of whom are voting members appointed by the governor of the state of Ohio, with the advice and consent of the state senate, to nine-year terms of office.
Riley’s term began on May 16, 2016 and ends in 2025. He is an alumnus of Kent State, having earned a bachelor's degree in political science in 1983.
