McDonald Hopkins welcomes Intellectual Property attorney Kevin Soucek

McDonald Hopkins is pleased to welcome Kevin Soucek as Counsel in the firm’s Intellectual Property Department. Kevin is an experienced attorney who brings a strategic and creative approach to developing comprehensive intellectual property strategies that provide clients with meaningful guidance in protecting and maximizing their IP assets.

Kevin provides pragmatic legal guidance on the creation, development, enforcement, and management of intellectual property portfolios. Additionally, he counsels clients regarding risk management and strategic considerations, when developing comprehensive IP portfolio strategies.

His experience also includes litigating and resolving numerous proceedings before the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, handling brand enforcement matters, and negotiating licensing agreements and trademark or copyright assignments.

David Cupar, Chair of McDonald Hopkins’ Intellectual Property Department, highlighted the significance of Kevin’s addition to the firm.

Kevin works out of McDonald Hopkins’ Cleveland office. He received his JD from Capital University Law School and a B.S.B.A. from John Carroll University.
