Teresa Metcalf Beasley named a 2024 Crain's Cleveland Notable Black Leader

Teresa is chair of the firm’s Public Law Practice, a member of the Real Estate Practice, and leads the firm's Civic Engagement and Community Relations. She has a track record of success and specializes in bond transactions, economic development incentives, and real estate development and financing, representing both private and public sector clients. Additionally, she fosters relationships with local and state officials to support clients' legal and legislative matters. Teresa also advises small business owners and balances her time as a board member and active participant in various community organizations.
Teresa is leader and mentor within McDonald Hopkins and the Northeast Ohio community. She has harnessed her professional influence to create opportunities, provide resources, and advocate for meaningful change transforming communities and lives in the areas of the arts, healthcare, and education. She is the Board Chair of Cleveland Neighborhood Progress, Inc. and In Counsel with Women. Additionally, she serves on the boards of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Playhouse Square Foundation, University Hospitals Cleveland Main Campus, and the Ohio Treasurer's Office Northeast Ohio Regional Advisory Board. She is also the Chapter President of Western Reserve (OH),The Links, Incorporated
