Overview
Bailey is an Associate at McDonald Hopkins and part of the firm’s Business Department and Real Estate Practice Group. Her practice broadly encompasses real estate and commercial and public finance, with a special interest in economic development and project financing. She assists clients from a variety of industries in all aspects of real estate transactions, and has experience with sale leasebacks, historic and renewable energy tax credit deals, and real estate matters in the context of mergers and acquisitions.
Bailey was previously a law clerk for McDonald Hopkins, and has additional experience in the legal department of Cuyahoga County and as a buy side intern for a Cleveland-area search fund. In her final year of law school, she participated in the year-long Community Development Clinic, where she served as corporate counsel for local nonprofit organizations. Prior to the start of her legal career, Bailey was a marketing and business development associate in the professional services industry.
Bailey earned her J.D., cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University Law School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Luther College, and also attended the University of Salamanca for a Spanish immersion semester.
