Overview
David is a member of the national Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Practice at McDonald Hopkins. He is accredited by the International Association of Privacy Professionals as a Certified Information Privacy Professional for the United States Private Sector, the gold standard certification for information privacy professionals.
David’s vast experience stems from his impressive work helping clients through nearly every stage of a data breach. He has advised and coached businesses, assisted forensic investigators, and offered incident response plans that are compliant with the numerous state, federal, international and industry-specific privacy laws and breach notification laws.
David also specializes in privacy litigation, regulatory defense and wire fraud matters. He also has extensive prior experience in intellectual property and technology litigation.
He provides valuable legal advice that takes into account the client’s unique set of circumstances, including the client’s industry, size, experience and knowledge of the legal landscape. He approaches each matter with the goal of providing clear advice and high-level work product in order to bring each matter to a positive resolution.
He earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2007 and received a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Florida in 2004.
