Overview

Hannah is an Associate in the Litigation Department and part of the firm’s national Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Practice Group. She specializes in incident response and pre-breach services. Hannah’s expertise in data privacy and cybersecurity stems from her time as a Deputy Attorney General in the Data Privacy and ID Theft Unit for the Office of the Indiana Attorney General.

In this role, she enforced laws and sanctions related to data breaches and HIPAA violations, investigated ransomware attacks, issued civil investigative demands to ensure compliance with privacy regulations and collaborated with Attorneys General nationwide on multistate investigations and settlements. She is well-versed in handling the implications and minimizing the harm of incidents that have a broad impact on consumers.

Hannah received her J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law. In law school she was an active member of the Protective Order Project, a student-directed project designed to help victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and harassment obtain civil protective orders from the court. She was also involved in the Women’s Law Caucus and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.

Additionally, Hannah holds a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University.
