Kevin J. Soucek

Kevin has experience in actively litigating and resolving many U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board cancellation and opposition proceedings, and other appeals, as well as various pre-litigation brand enforcement matters.  He also has experience in handling various transactional matters, such as negotiating the terms and conditions of licensing agreements or the assignment of certain registered/unregistered trademarks and/or copyrights.  In addition, among other matters, Kevin regularly provides strategic counsel to clients on key considerations in anticipation of navigating the various aspects of domestic and foreign trademark application preparation, prosecution and later maintenance. 

Beyond his intellectual property practice, Kevin has had experience advising business owners and individuals on a diverse range of tax, corporate, nonprofit, and estate planning and probate matters. He previously had his own expanding practice representing clients throughout Ohio regarding intellectual property, tax, probate and other general business matters.
