Overview
Trevor Lewis is an Associate in McDonald Hopkins' Intellectual Property Department. He specializes in mechanical and software arts. His practice involves preparing and prosecuting patent applications, as well as researching and drafting opinions regarding the patentability of inventions and freedom to operate.
During law school, Trevor was an associate editor for UNH Law Review and participated in the school’s IP & transaction clinic, where he assisted in pro bono trademark prosecution. Additionally, he competed in the 2022 National Patent Application Drafting Competition as a member of the school’s team at the USPTO.
While in law school, he was employed by Fresenius Medical Care as an extern where he assisted in-house attorneys with patent and trademark prosecution and researched a wide range of patent and trademark legal issues. Trevor also worked as a student attorney at BAE systems through the school’s legal residency program where he assisted in-house attorneys with patent prosecution and litigation.
Prior to joining McDonald Hopkins, Trevor was a Patent Associate at Pearne & Gordon, LLP.
