- Represented owner in sale of 5,300 apartments in multiple states to single buyer
- Represented owner in the acquisition of 500 unit apartment complex in South Carolina
- Represented owner in the acquisition of 300 apartment complex in Ohio
- Represented owner in the acquisition of 450 unit apartment complex in Ohio
- Represented sponsors in private-placement offerings for multifamily, retail, and industrial acquisitions
- Represented buyer of 600 apartments in Illinois
- Represented buyer of sale of 10,000 unit apartment complex in Ohio
- Represented buyer in assumption of 800 apartments from HUD
- Represented an Ohio university in the complete rehabilitation of a historic dormitory utilizing federal historic rehabilitation tax credits and state historic rehabilitation tax credits to supplement the university’s capital campaign
- Represented a university in the $33 million redevelopment of a 1960s era student residence utilizing federal historic rehabilitation tax credits and state historic rehabilitation tax credits
- Represented a REIT client in connection with deployment of $150+ million in acquiring distressed multifamily loan portfolios and distressed multifamily properties spanning 10,000+ residential units in three States
- Represented a client in connection with TIC to LLC conversions, partnerships restructurings, and refinancing of personal portfolio of 650 residential multifamily units involving approximately $44 million of Freddie Mac, CMBS, and mezz/preferred equity in multiple jurisdictions
- Represented a “money partner” in joint venture equity arrangements and acquisitions/financings of nine separate multifamily and mixed-use value-add and ground up development projects including approximately $25 million of permanent and construction financing
- Represented a university on the re-development of a high-rise student housing complex
- Represented a university on exploration of viability of sale and lease back for student housing.
