Leticia is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property Department. She focuses her practice on trademark matters and prosecution. She advises clients on trademark clearance and trademark protection in the United States, manages clients’ global intellectual property portfolios, oversees trademark docketing systems, and handles all aspects of trial proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. She also drafts co-existence and consent agreements, complex assignments, and licensing, trade secret, and non-disclosure agreements. Since 2011, Leticia has taught two classes a year on trademarks and licensing at the Florida International University.
Most recently, Leticia worked for Fleit Gibbons Gutman Bongini & Bianco PL in Aventura, Florida, where she was the firm’s dedicated trademark attorney. She handled all of the firm’s applications and filings, both domestic and abroad, from start to finish, and managed clients’ global intellectual property portfolios.
Leticia earned a J.D. from American University Washington College of Law in 2006. She received a B.A. in Political Science and English (Double Major) from Florida International University in 2002.
